As a child my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle action figures were my favorite toys in the whole world, we were inseparable. Looking back on the moments I spent with them I now realize that they had other meanings for me besides just fun. Through our many adventures the turtles taught me life lessons that I will never forget. Michelangelo taught me that friendship and loyalty are important and should not be taken for grant it. The turtles as a whole taught me that blood is thicker than water, when someone messed with one of us they messed with us all, and deep down we loved each other for it. When I first saw Michelangelo on my fourth birthday judging by his goofy appearance I never would have guessed I could learn so much from a turtle, but in the end they prepared me for life.
